CAM 501: Foundations for Christian Coaching

Mondays, 8 weeks, Jan. 24–Mar. 4, 2019, 7:30-9:00 p.m. (EST), Online. 

This live course provides the basic foundation for understanding and practicing coaching. Whether you are a minister, lay leader, business leader, coach, consultant, or social service provider, coaching is a powerful addition to your skills of serving and leading others. And, if you are thinking about becoming an ICF credentialed coach, this is the perfect place to start! Topics covered include: core coaching skills, coaching conversation model, the biblical basis for coaching, how coaching is distinct from counseling and mentoring, and how can use coaching in their ministries or workplace. You will finish the course ready and able to use coaching at a basic level. This class will be co-led by Jeannette Scott, and Brian MIller, Strategic Director of Coach Approach Ministries.

ICF Accredited: This course is accredited for 16 hours of ACSTH (Approved Coach Specific Training Hours). It is also the prerequisite for all other CAM Core Curriculum Live Training.
